Guy Makes Crazy Discovery About His Family When Looking Through His Old Computer

You never know what kind of family secret you might uncover when searching through old computers. Truly, proceed at your own risk. This TIFU story could have had a much worse ending, but despite the secrets on that old laptop, the story ended up kinda heartwarming.

    Text - My old computer is a Toshiba. My mom used to have it for a couple years when I was 5 or 6, and gave it to me when I was 8 or so. She had it so there were 2 users, me and my mom. Hers was password protected, and mine wasn't. Fast forward a lot of years to today. I decide "Hey, why not check out my mom's?" In a moment of pure dumbassery, not to mention nosy. So I check.     Text - wrong. I start opening up random ones, and they all mention some random guy, I'll use the name "Joe" for now. There's mentions of Joe wanting to see me, or say hi to me. Joe keeps being mentioned, along with my name, and my dad's name, let's call him "Moe." I find an archived email to Joe. It's my mom asking him to let Moe take custody of me. Confused, I look around more until I find a court document. I see Moe's name on there, along with his relation to my family
